Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP, develop CI/CD pipelines, and drive automation with Kubernetes and IaC tools.

This position emphasizes security, monitoring, and global collaboration. You will engage with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable deployments, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and operations in a remote-first,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) in production.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and automation frameworks.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes.
• Networking, security, and system administration fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication, especially in a remote team setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues in a timely manner.

• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
