Job summary

Four Sea Group, a Denver-based employee-owned technical mission support company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to strengthen secure, repeatable software delivery across customer environments. The role spans development, infrastructure, integration, test, and cybersecurity teams, focusing on reducing deployment risk, improving delivery consistency, and enabling faster releases.

The ideal candidate has a software engineering foundation with cloud, container, CI/CD, and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 6+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI access is required.
• Experience with multi-tiered or microservice architectures and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with containerization/orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Strong scripting/automation and Linux environment skills.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, security controls, and IAM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Improve delivery of mission-critical software across environments by optimizing build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate across development, infrastructure, integration, test, and cybersecurity teams.
• Develop reusable automation and promote modern cloud, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
