Job summary

HealthVerity, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own scalable, reliable infrastructure and optimize cloud usage. You will enable secure deployments, mentor teammates, and drive cost-efficient operations across teams.

Key responsibilities include IaC development, container orchestration with Kubernetes/Docker, and building observability for production workloads. Hybrid role with in-office three days a week in Center City Philadelphia, plus remote options in approved locations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing distributed systems and cloud architectures.
• Proficient with AWS and cloud-native patterns.
• Skilled in writing scalable, optimized IaC.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security practices.
• Hands-on with serverless workloads and container orchestration.
• Ability to diagnose complex performance issues in production.
• Experience optimizing cloud costs.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable infrastructure aligned with performance, security, and cost goals.
• Develop IaC and automate cloud deployments.
• Support containerized workloads with orchestration tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune distributed systems for reliability.
• Establish observability with health signals and monitoring.
• Automate patching, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tasks.
• Reduce technical debt and drive system improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through reviews and talks.
