Redolent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a 3+ month contract in Sunnyvale, CA.

Qualifications

• Creating Docker images for micro-services, configuring load balancer and autoscaling groups for high availability.

Responsibilities

• Creating Docker images for micro-services, Configuring Application Load Balancer and Auto Scaling Groups for high availability of application.
• Provisioning of all lower level and production environments including installing Operating Systems such as Red Hat and middleware such as Tomcat for various projects and releases.
• Migrating applications and databases from physical/virtual infrastructure into cloud and ensuring that they are fully operationalized in cloud.
• Scripting the administration tasks using CLI, Shell Scripting, Python, etc.
• Application, plugin testing and operation system and software upgrades.
• Designing and developing solutions to complex applications problems and system administration issues.
• Automate infrastructure admin tasks using Ansible and Chef as CI tools.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Github, Jenkins and Nexus.
• Designing monitoring features using Nagios, Kibana and Logstash for health, performance and security with alerts.
• Configuring Splunk for application logging to access cloud server logs.
• Performing load tests with JMeter to analyze behavior and performance.
• Creating branches/repositories for releases to ensure data integrity.
• Working with development teams to support builds and integration requirements.
• Maintaining disaster recovery for systems.
• Preparing installation and troubleshooting documents and release cycle activity.
