Job summary

BNB Chain is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will drive automation, CI/CD enhancements, and middleware deployment (Kafka, Redis, NGINX) while improving observability and reliability.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver production-grade services, manage Kubernetes clusters, and participate in on-call rotations in a fast-paced, blockchain-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, Platform, SRE, or Infra roles.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Kubernetes production environments experience.
• Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with middleware (Kafka / Redis / NGINX).
• Golang or Python scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Handle cluster autoscaling and capacity planning with Karpenter.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Deploy and operate middleware such as Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.
• Automate tasks using Golang and Python.
• Improve observability with monitoring and tracing (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software engineers to streamline deployments and developer experience.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
