Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer role at NICO National Indemnity Company is based in Omaha, NE with a hybrid work arrangement (50% in office). You will automate deployment, testing, and configuration management to drive faster delivery while maintaining compliance and standards.

You will build self-service platforms, curate reusable components, and develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline the end-to-end software lifecycle across technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years related work experience in Azure infrastructure.
• Experience with ADO and GitHub SDLC processes.
• DevOps pipelines experience (CI/CD).
• Networking, DNS, servers experience.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment, testing, and configuration management processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
• Build curated self-service platforms to improve engineering experience and delivery speed.
• Create CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Develop reusable components and patterns for golden paths and best-practice APIs.
