Job summary

HP is seeking a Software DevOps Engineer to design and manage cloud-based infrastructure and automated pipelines across on-premises, local, and AWS environments.

You will implement CI/CD, monitor systems, and work with developers to optimize resources while maintaining security and cost controls. The role requires 5+ years of experience in DevOps with strong AWS and containerization skills.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying cloud-based services and architectures.
• Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiar with AWS services (EC2, RDS, IAM, Lambda, SQS/SNS).
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, Go, Groovy, Terraform).
• Strong SDLC understanding and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage automated CI/CD pipelines with AWS deployments.
• Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for multiple stacks.
• Develop tools for release management and source code repositories.
• Ensure security, monitoring, and cost controls for cloud hosting.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize resources and performance.
• Document standards and ensure reliability and uptime across platforms.
