Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking an experienced DevOps professional in the United States, Illinois region, to deploy and support Ovation applications and related infrastructure. The role emphasizes production readiness, container orchestration with Rancher Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.

The candidate should have 8+ years of AWS/Kubernetes DevOps experience, hands-on Rancher and EKS knowledge, and strong troubleshooting skills to ensure high uptime and efficient

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in AWS and Kubernetes DevOps support.
• Hands-on experience with Rancher Kubernetes, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk/SignalFx.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Provide deployment and support for non-prod Ovation applications and related infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime for testing and business teams.
• Participate in production readiness activities, including reviewing and updating runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and monitoring dashboards.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Rancher Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
• Monitor and log infrastructure using Splunk/SignalFx and AWS CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with teams using ServiceNow and JIRA for issue tracking and resolution.
