Job summary

EBG is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, operate, and improve cloud infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts. You will partner with engineering, security, and operations to build reliable pipelines, automate infrastructure, and strengthen security controls.

Ideal candidates are commutable to Orlando for occasional meetings and trainings, with Florida residency required. You will mentor engineers, drive automation, and contribute to operational readiness across platforms

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalents.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure, including secure multi-account environments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience implementing cloud security controls and responding to security events.
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms like CloudWatch and New Relic.
• Ability to communicate complex tech concepts clearly and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain infrastructure engineering policies, standards, and governance for deployment and orchestration.
• Design, build, and maintain secure IaC modules for multi-account AWS environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, testing, image creation, security validation, and deployment.
• Use GitHub and/or Bitbucket to manage source code, reviews, and branching strategies.
• Implement and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes with automation via Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across build, test, release, deployment, infrastructure, database, network, and runtime layers.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards using CloudWatch, New Relic, and related tools.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and improve security controls for cloud and DevOps platforms.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, standards, and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor engineers and promote automation and reliability practices.
