This is a remote position (must live in Central US time zone) supporting Mastercard’s OCC (Operations Command Center) by developing and delivering high-value automations that reduce manual workload, improve incident resolution, and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of automation solutions using IPcenter and IPautomata modules.
2. Partner with Mastercard OCC leads to identify and deliver value-driven automations.
3. Build solutions to enhance event correlation, reduce escalations, improve first-call resolution, and cut customer-facing incidents by 50%.
4. Achieve 90% incident resolution at the OCC level and enable automated problem remediation.
5. Apply CSI’s best practices and leverage automation libraries to fast-track development.
6. Mentor and guide Mastercard teams on automation design and delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience with relevant technologies.
3. Experience leading automation in large-scale IT infrastructure environments.
4. Deep knowledge of IPcenter, IPautomata, and automation frameworks.
5. Strong skills in Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and system scripting.
6. Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
7. Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, RESTful API development, and familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef.
8. Exposure to cognitive automation is a plus.
9. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
10. Flexible mindset with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.

Additional Information:

This position is remote within the Central timezone in the US. Employees within a 60-mile radius of a SoundHound AI office are expected to work from the office three pre-scheduled, company-wide “core days” per month to promote cross-team collaboration.

Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 plus equity, with comprehensive benefits including healthcare and paid time off. Specific salary details will be provided based on location and experience.
