Job summary

Duetto is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, build, and own the AWS infrastructure that powers our Revenue & Profit Operating System. You will collaborate with developers to improve reliability, security, and performance across a global, 24/7 SaaS platform.

You’ll work in a fully remote role across the US, own critical tooling, and influence infrastructure decisions that impact the entire business. Strong cloud, automation, and monitoring skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Ops/DevOps/SRE with real system design and architecture chops.
• Hands-on cloud infra administration (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP welcome).
• Strong networking and security knowledge at engineering level.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement infrastructure for seamless migrations of critical systems with uptime in focus.
• Design, build, and maintain tooling to scale SaaS products on AWS.
• Partner with developers to improve reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Build and maintain infrastructure components for high availability and security.
• Drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams for infrastructure decisions.
• Lead weekly on-call, perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and implement infrastructure for seamless migrations of critical systems, keeping uptime and reliability front and center
• Design, build, and maintain the tooling and processes that let our SaaS products scale and run themselves on AWS
• Partner closely with developers to strengthen the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of our application architecture
• Build and maintain the critical infrastructure components that keep everything highly available and secure
• Drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams, making sure infrastructure decisions serve the whole business
• Take your turn as last line of defense in our weekly on-call rotation, leading root cause analysis and driving fixes that stick for good

What We’re Looking For

You may be a good fit if you have the following:

• 5+ years in an Ops, DevOps, or SRE role, with real system design and architecture chops. You’re comfortable administering cloud infrastructure hands-on (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP also welcome), and you know your way around networking and security at an engineering level.
• You’re fluent in the AWS ecosystem (IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail), have run Terraform/Terragrunt in production, and have worked with Chef or Puppet.
• You’re at home with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, and GitOps workflows, and you’ve used DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana to keep tabs on system health.
• You can read Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript well enough to move fast across a codebase.

Strong candidates may also have:

• Experience with ECS or EKS, exposure to SOC2 or secure-by-default practices
• Familiarity with L7 load balancing.
