Job summary

DualEntry is building the next generation ERP in a fast-paced, remote-first team. We’re seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to lead the early DevOps setup, design an internal platform, and implement AWS infrastructure for performance and security.

You’ll own CI/CD, IaC, and observability, collaborating across teams with high autonomy. Ideal candidates have 10+ years overall or 5+ years AWS-focused engineering, strong IaC and CI/CD skills, and the ability to work across EU/LATAM/US

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS experience with a strong focus on DevOps and platform engineering.
• Proficient in IaC, Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Solid CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment workflows.
• Familiar with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• High autonomy and ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead the initial setup of DevOps and platform engineering practices.
• Design and deliver an internal platform for environments to boost velocity.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for performance, scale, and security.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and automate release processes end to end.
• Implement observability tooling to detect and resolve issues early.
• Collaborate with developers to remove bottlenecks and improve reliability.
• Ensure high availability through monitoring, incident response, and recovery.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation across systems.
• Document systems and processes for clarity and reproducibility.

Location: Remote - this role is available across all EU/LATAM countries with overlap for the US ET timezone (NYC HQ)

Where you'll create impact

You’ll lead the initial setup of our DevOps and platform engineering practices

You’ll design and deliver an internal platform for personal or feature environments to boost developer velocity

You’ll build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for performance, scale, and security

You’ll build CI/CD pipelines and automate release processes end to end

You’ll implement observability tooling (logging, monitoring, alerting) to detect and resolve issues early

You’ll collaborate with developers to remove bottlenecks and improve reliability

You’ll ensure high availability through monitoring, incident response, and recovery strategies

You’ll drive Infrastructure as Code best practices and infrastructure automation

You’ll document systems and processes for clarity and reproducibility

What sets you up for success

Hardcore work ethic and high agency

10+ years experience overall OR 5+ years deep AWS-focused engineering experience

Strong experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Strong command of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, similar)

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment workflows

Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

Comfortable building systems from scratch with high autonomy

Time zone flexibility to support partial 24-hour coverage

Pragmatic, hard-working, curious, and high-velocity by default
