Job summary

4flow management GmbH is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive infrastructure strategy, reliability engineering, and operational excellence. You will lead automation initiatives, design scalable CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers across teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires deep expertise in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and hands-on experience with OpenTofu and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/SE/IT.
• Deep expertise in Linux, CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms; hands-on with OpenTofu and Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills; hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Architect and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Define and enforce best practices in configuration management and system monitoring.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code with OpenTofu and Terraform.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to align infra with business goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote reliability and continuous improvement.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will drive the strategic direction of infrastructure and reliability engineering. You’ll lead initiatives in automation, cloud architecture, and system performance, while mentoring engineers and collaborating across teams to ensure operational excellence.
