Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Location: Remote (United States)

Job Type: Independent Contractor (No insurance, PTO, & benefits; candidate will be responsible for any tax and insurance, business trips will be reimbursed)

Level: Senior

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and maintain platform systems related to operation and maintenance, including participation in building operation and maintenance systems;
• Build and maintain Kubernetes production environments;
• Manage daily operations and maintenance of platform systems, ensuring system stability and performance;
• Research service architecture, identify potential issues, and develop system optimization plans to enhance stability and efficiency.

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher, with over 5 years of DevOps experience, majoring in computer science or related fields;
• Proficient with Linux, Jenkins, Nginx, Redis, MySQL, Git, and other common deployment, maintenance, and optimization tools;
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, CloudFront, RDS, S3, EKS, ECR, and familiarity with Google Cloud;
• Expertise in Kubernetes and other orchestration frameworks, with secondary development experience preferred;
• Knowledge of Docker and related OS support (file systems, Cgroups), with source code mastery preferred;
• Understanding of resource scheduling systems, system design, and experience with large-scale scheduling system construction preferred;
• Familiar with operation and maintenance tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform;
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD;
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferred.
