Job summary

CPP Digital is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to own the design, management, and optimization of scalable cloud infrastructure in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will drive reliability, performance, and security across VMs, containers, networks, and databases while leading a team of engineers.

You will collaborate with developers to streamline deployments, implement observability, and enforce best practices for high availability and resilience in a global production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering in SaaS or data-driven org.
• In-depth knowledge of modern DevOps tooling, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes; this is a must.

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of designing, managing, and optimizing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. This role is suited to a senior engineer who thrives in a fast-growing SaaS environment, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and can lead technical initiatives to support high-volume data processing at scale. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of systems handling billions of tracking requests per day worldwide. You will work across cloud infrastructure, servers, networks, containers, databases, monitoring, and system architecture, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing scalable solutions. The ideal candidate is an independent, analytical, and pragmatic engineer who can lead a team, drive infrastructure improvements, maximize uptime, and make sound technical decisions while collaborating closely with developers and other stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

• Design, manage, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance.


• Lead and support a team of engineers, providing technical direction and driving infrastructure improvements.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technical field.


• Extensive hands-on experience in a similar DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering role, preferably within a SaaS or data-driven organization.


• In-depth knowledge of modern DevOps tooling, infrastructure management, and automation.


• Practical experience with Kubernetes; this is considered a must


• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Sentry, Grafana, or Loki.

Additional information

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification, or a willingness to obtain one.


• Experience scaling high-throughput systems and distributed infrastructure for substantial request volumes.


• Experience with cloud-native architectures, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.


• Experience designing monitoring systems, defining service reliability objectives, and improving incident response.


• Experience working with external cloud providers and resolving infrastructure capacity constraints.


• Previous experience in a senior or team lead position within a growing SaaS or technology company.
