Senior Devops Engineer

Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Azure Policy Development: Collaborate in the creation, customization, and implementation of Azure policies.
2. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough QA reviews of Azure Policies to maintain high standards and effectiveness.
3. Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform to define and manage cloud infrastructure, policy definitions, and reproducible deployments.
4. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Manage CI/CD pipelines and code versioning platforms to automate application deployment processes and improve workflows.
5. Scripting and Automation: Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to streamline operational tasks and enhance efficiency.
6. Cloud Stack Expertise: Apply knowledge of the Azure cloud stack to optimize and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions.
7. Security Compliance: Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all deployed systems and processes.
8. Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance user experiences.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud environments, especially Azure.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with JSON manipulation for policy and configuration management.
• Familiarity with other cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
