The Challenges You'll Tackle

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You'll play a pivotal role in streamlining our deployment processes, optimizing system performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support our rapidly evolving platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems (e.g., ELK Stack) to ensure system health and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide the necessary tools and environments for efficient development and deployment.
• Implement and uphold security best practices across all systems and deployments, including access controls and vulnerability assessments.
• Continuously assess and optimize system performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring low-latency operations.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure rapid incident response and support system uptime and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a DevOps or related role, with a proven track record managing complex cloud infrastructures.
• Deep understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Points

• Certifications such as Google Professional DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience with real-time media streaming technologies and protocols.
• Exposure to integrating AI/ML solutions into DevOps workflows.
