Job summary

Cerebras Systems in San Francisco is seeking a strong DevOps engineer to join our production-scale infrastructure. You will plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications and design environments to support them, with a focus on reliability and automation.

You will automate provisioning with Chef or Ansible, deploy containers with Docker/Kubernetes, and drive release management and production support.

Qualifications

• Proficient in a DevOps environment.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes concepts.
• Experience with scripting and CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications in a production environment.
• Design environments for those applications.

• Plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications in a production environment
• Designing and implementing appropriate environments for those applications
• Engineer suitable release management procedures and provide production support
• Automating the provisioning of environments with Chef or Ansible, and deploying environments using containers, like Docker or Kubernetes
• Troubleshooting problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our clients
• Driving improvements to processes and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the production environmentSupporting events - webinars/conferences/shows
