Job summary

Addison Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to deliver across desktop applications, web services, and mobile apps, and to integrate services that connect all of it. You will contribute to maintenance and enhancement while advancing your skills.

The role requires strong cloud experience, IaC, and release pipelines, with ownership of release lifecycles for at least two surfaces and a willingness to ramp on the third. Office schedule: 4 days in office with 1 remote day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins); Cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable); Scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Own the release lifecycle for at least two client surfaces (desktop, web, mobile) and ramp on the third.
• Build release pipelines and manage infrastructure as code.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual steps and improve deployment efficiency.
• Provide estimates for programming work.
• Collaborate daily with a high-performance team and communicate effectively.
• Perform code reviews and QA on new functionality as needed.
• Meet deadlines and take on additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for delivery across desktop applications running on installer workstations, web applications serving thousands of dealers, mobile applications used in the field every day, and the services and integrations that connect all of it. You will be assisting with product maintenance and enhancement while taking your skills to the next level.

Core Duties

• Deep cloud experience, fluency with infrastructure as code, and a track record of building release pipelines
• Own the full release lifecycle for at least two of the three client surfaces (desktop, web, and mobile), and confident enough to ramp on the third quickly
• Drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual processes and improve deployment efficiency
• Provide estimates for programming work
• Communicate and work well daily with a high-performance team
• Perform code reviews and QA on new functionality as needed
• Commit to and meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles
