Our client is a large U.S. financial institution that operates a significant branch and ATM network across multiple states, providing a broad range of banking services with a long history dating back to the early 20th century.

Note: Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For W2 consultants, benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. W2

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar platforms.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application environments.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues across systems, applications, and networks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to strengthen reliability and deployment workflows.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years in SRE, Systems Engineering, DevOps, Software Development, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong background with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Intermediate-level experience with Terraform.
• Solid scripting or programming experience in Go, Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and production environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or CloudWatch.
• Experience working in Agile environments (preferred).
• Experience in highly regulated environments (preferred).
• Experience with Consul or Vault for service discovery and secrets management (preferred).
• Background supporting multiple cloud environments and regions (preferred).
