Qualifications

• 7+ years in Platform/SRE/Infra/DevOps roles.
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed apps and infra.
• Professional Python/Go automation experience.
• Hands-on with modern CI/CD tooling and automated delivery.
• Expertise with containers and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience with IaC and Terraform or related tech.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS and on-prem environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

A technology-focused organization is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to help improve the reliability, scalability, and automation of critical infrastructure and application environments. This individual will work closely with engineering, data, and business-facing technology teams to deliver robust platform solutions that support a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support shared platform services utilized by multiple teams across the organization.
• Develop and enhance automation solutions that improve deployment efficiency, operational consistency, and system reliability.
• Implement best practices around infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and software delivery processes.
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD frameworks and deployment tooling.
• Partner with software engineering teams to improve system performance, resiliency, and operational readiness.
• Contribute to incident management, troubleshooting, and production support efforts.
• Create documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards to improve platform maturity.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms across hybrid infrastructure environments.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps-focused roles.
• Strong background supporting large-scale distributed applications and infrastructure environments.
• Professional experience developing software and automation solutions using Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining modern CI/CD tooling and automated software delivery processes.
• Expertise with container technologies and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience developing, consuming, or supporting API-driven services.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management frameworks such as Terraform or related technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Familiarity with both public cloud infrastructure (AWS strongly preferred) and traditional data center environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Background

• Experience improving operational processes through automation and self-service tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in production environments.
• Prior involvement in 24x7 support, incident response, or reliability-focused engineering teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across software engineering, infrastructure, and business technology groups.
