Job summary

Viewtrade Technology Corporation in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate build/test/deploy, and manage containerized applications across cloud and on‑prem environments. The role also deploys AWS infrastructure, maintains SQL Server databases, and ensures secure, scalable web services on IIS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in CS/Networking/IS or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with CI/CD and containerization.
• Proven experience deploying/managing AWS infrastructure.
• Experience supporting SQL Server databases and IIS web servers.
• Strong scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python; Jira in Agile environments.

Senior DevOps Engineer: Jersey City, NJ: Design/implement/maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build/testing/deployment processes & develop/manage containerized applications; Deploy/configure/manage AWS cloud infrastructure & services (compute/storage/networking); Monitor/troubleshoot/optimize application performance & infrastructure availability in cloud & on-premises environments;Install/configure/maintain SQL Server databases & support database deployment/backup/recovery/performance tuning; Configure/manage web applications on IIS servers & ensure secure/stable/efficient web service delivery; Administer/maintain Linux & Windows, including patching/upgrades/configuration/system performance monitoring; Develop automation scripts to streamline operational tasks & troubleshoot/conduct root cause analysis; Collaborate with development/QA/infrastructure teams to ensure reliable application releases & system stability; Monitor/enhance endpoint & infrastructure security & implement issue tracking/sprint planning/workflow processes.

Req: Master's degree in Computer Science/Networking, Information Systems, or a related field; Minimum 2 years of experience; Experience must include building CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins) & containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) tools; deploying/managing cloud infrastructure in AWS; supporting SQL Server databases & IIS web servers;Strong scripting skills in Bash/PowerShell/Python;Expert ability in configuring/troubleshooting/maintaining Linux/Windows servers, implementing endpoint/infrastructure security solutions & using Jira ticketing tools in Agile environments. Salary: $132K - $135K/year.
