Senior DevOps Engineer | Regulated Fintech | Remote-first (4 days monthly Berlin)

I am partnered with a regulated fintech infrastructure company that are hiring a senior DevOps engineer to own and evolve their AWS Kubernetes platform at scale.

This is a platform engineering role. You will work on the systems that product engineers depend on to ship reliably in a regulated environment. The focus is production ownership, operational clarity, and sound engineering decisions.

What you’ll do

• Own and operate EKS clusters on AWS, including building new clusters from templates
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build and run CI/CD with Argo CD and related workflow tooling
• Design observability across metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and incident response using Datadog
• Improve developer experience across build, deploy, and operational workflows
• Participate in on-call and drive learning through post-incident reviews
• Contribute to platform direction with a product mindset
