Qualifications

• Proficient with Kubernetes and Dockerfile creation.
• 3+ years GNU/Linux commands, shell, and Git version control.
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications and building pipelines (GitLab).
• KCNA or similar certification is desirable.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services is preferred.
• IaC experience with Terraform, and air-gapped network deployment familiarity.
• Knowledge of Cert Manager, OpenSSL, PKI, and Kafka is a plus.

This role is pivotal in integrating cloud technologies with DevOps practices, requiring a blend of technical skills and operational acumen. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Required: Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
• Education: B.S. in Computer Science. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience or certification.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification (Security+ or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience with deep knowledge in one or more of the following fields: Cloud Engineering Pipeline engineering Kubernetes development
• Proficient in Kubernetes Experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications.
• 3+ years of experience with GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git version control.
• Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently.
• Desired: Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) certification or similar
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals or similar) is preferred.
• Competence in building pipelines, preferably with GitLab.
• Experience delivering a cloud native application.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC flows, or KeyCloak.
• Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform.
• Experience deploying to air-gapped networks.
• Experience with Cert Manager, OpenSSL, and Public Key Infrastructure.
• Experience with event streaming services, especially Kafka.

Basic Compensation

$115,600 - $173,300 (For Colorado Springs Only) The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
