Job summary

KBR is looking for a Jr Software Developer in Colorado Springs to help develop and deploy secure, end-to-end cloud-based applications. You will work across stacks, implement containerized lifecycles with Kubernetes or Docker, and build CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security and automation.

You will apply GitOps principles, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and leverage AWS and other cloud platforms to enhance reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years’ experience developing web-based applications.
• 2 years’ experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Experience in Database development like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
• Experience working with Agile, Agile XP, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple technology stacks to support a broad range of applications.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
