Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a hands-on DevOps Technical Lead / Engineer in Austin, TX to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will manage Kubernetes deployments with Argo CD, implement GitOps, and drive production reliability using New Relic observability.

The ideal candidate will automate infrastructure, build robust deployment processes, and collaborate with development, QA, security, and platform teams to resolve incidents and improve system

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps engineer with AWS, Kubernetes, CircleCI, Argo CD, New Relic, Python, and Bash experience.
• Experience building/supporting cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments with Argo CD and GitOps practices.
• Deploy and operate production workloads on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Implement observability with New Relic including dashboards and alerts.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and deployment issues.
• Improve reliability, scalability, availability, security, and deployment efficiency.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Bash.
• Participate in incident management and root-cause analysis.
• Work with Kubernetes components: Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Namespaces, RBAC.
• Apply DevSecOps practices and security controls.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools with testing and security validation.

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Technical Lead / DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes, CircleCI, Argo CD, New Relic, Python, and Bash.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, GitOps, observability, automation, and production operations. Candidates should be comfortable independently troubleshooting production issues and working closely with development, QA, security, and platform teams.

Must Have Skills:

• Use AI-assisted development/coding tools for scripting, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and code reviews, with appropriate testing, security validation, and human review.
