Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer located in Annapolis, Maryland. This full-time role focuses on delivering technical support for government contracts and involves ensuring the reliability and availability of critical mission-related software systems.

The successful candidate will work primarily on-site in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance, along with relevant experience in Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 12 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent.

GliaCell is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system utilizing cutting‑edge technologies.

Duties

• Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of RHEL.
• Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Manage commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS).
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• The position allows little to no work from home and will require a significant portion or all work to be performed in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).

Key Requirements

• Possess an active or rein‑statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Professional/Education experience: 12 years & Bachelors of Science Degree, or 10 years & Masters Degree, or 14 years & Associates Degree, or 16 years & High School Diploma.
• Current Security+CE certificate.
