Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• 5+ years developing software products in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
• 5+ years automating product development using scripting/programming languages.
• 3+ years designing scalable infrastructure for data solutions across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
• 3+ years IT Infrastructure, Change Governance, RCA, Operational Risk, System/Networking Architecture, DevOps & Cloud Operations.
• 3+ years cloud security architecture/design across major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a resilient, secure cloud-hosted platform to meet SLAs while supporting new releases and maintenance updates.
• Work with leading cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) in deployments.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools for design, deployment, and management of secure enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and cloud architectures.
• Engage with cross-functional globally distributed teams on troubleshooting, automation insights, and architectural decisions.
• Coordinate with Cloud and Engineering teams to build, monitor, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure via automation.
• Configure and tune cloud-based tools, manage cost, security, and compliance of the Boeing Cloud.
• Design, build, and maintain environment-specific alerts/dashboards via Google Cloud Monitoring.
• Monitor and resolve site stability and performance issues including incident management and post-mortem analysis.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient cloud-hosted platform to meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while supporting the rollout of new software releases and maintenance updates

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

• 10+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• 5+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
• 5+ years of experience in automating product development using scripting/programming languages
• 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Change Governance, Root Cause Analysis, Operational Risk, System and Networking Architecture, DevOps & Cloud Operations
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and design, with a focus on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

• Experience in Azure and/or AWS to complement GCP expertise
• Experience with collaboration and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Slack to facilitate communication in a distributed team
• Experience in GCP monitoring and logging tools, such as Google Cloud Operations Suite and Google Security Command Center, for monitoring system performance, security and health
• Experience with GCP managed database services, such as Cloud SQL, Firestore, or Bigtable, and understanding of database design and optimization
• Experience developing, designing, and supporting a Kubernetes as a Service-based solution
