Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to analyze, design, code, test, and maintain automated CD pipelines across Linux environments. You will implement and optimize CI/CD tooling (AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform) and enable full automation of deployment and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Professional level cloud certification/s in either AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years of IT experience with a combination of:
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
• 5+ years experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux based operating systems in an admin/support/engineering capacity

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems.
• Perform maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting for deployment tools.
• Create and maintain fully automated CD processes for multiple Linux environments.
• Support integration, operation, change management, and maintenance of CD tools.
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related documentation for CD operations.
• Onboard, train, and support developers on source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
• Enable DevOps by promoting code through Dev/Test, Staging, and Production environments.
• Troubleshoot issues across the CI/CD pipeline.
• AWS architecture, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform knowledge required.
• Lead cloud strategy discussions and collaboration across teams.
• Provide SME-level guidance on cloud solutions and infrastructure design.
• Plan migrations and deployments of infrastructure services.
• Train team on IaC, CI/CD, and architecture reviews.
