Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a senior cloud/DevOps engineer in Providence, RI to analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines across multiple application systems. You will maintain fully automated CD processes, support build and deployment scripts, and ensure secure, scalable cloud operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform, plus strong knowledge of identity management, security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Professional level cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Architect level certification a plus.
• 12+ years IT experience with a mix of cloud engineering and admin/support/engineering roles.
• 5+ years cloud engineering experience with vendor platforms.
• 5+ years debugging Windows or Linux operating systems in admin/engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, and test components of automated deployment pipelines.
• Maintain fully automated CD processes for multiple Linux environments.
• Create/update build/deployment scripts and support CI/CD tooling.
• Develop policies, standards, and governance for CD operations and teams.
• Onboard and train developers on source control, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
• Lead cloud service deployments and provide SME guidance on cloud strategies.
