iits sucht eine/n Cloud Engineer (all genders) – eine Vollzeitstelle mit sofortigem Start, remote aus Deutschland möglich. Sie arbeiten an Cloud-Infrastrukturen, definieren als Code, verbessern CI/CD-Prozesse und entwickeln eigene Tools in Go. Tech-Stack umfasst Terraform/OpenTofu, Kubernetes, GitOps, GitLab/GitHub Actions.

English mindestens C1, Deutschkenntnisse wünschenswert. Sie arbeiten in einem flexiblen Umfeld mit Home-Office, Weiterbildungen, regelmäßigen Events und familienfreundlichen

Responsibilities

• Aufbau, Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung von Cloud-Infrastrukturen.
• Sicherstellung von nachvollziehbaren Architekturentscheidungen und Dokumentation.
• Migration/Deployment von Services mittels GitOps-Prozessen und CI/CD-Pipelines.
• Eigenverantwortliche Problembehebung von clusterbezogenen Aufgaben.
• Automatisierung repetitiver Aufgaben und Optimierung von Workflows.

You are familiar with Cloud-Native-Technologien aus und rolling out modern software using GitOps principles ? You want to not only automate infrastructure but also develop your own tools and operators in Go? You see CloudOps as more than just putting individual tools and automation scripts together?
Then become our new Cloud Engineer (all genders)! The full-time position ist starting immediately, remote available from all over Germany.

your profile

• You have experience in building and operating modern cloud infrastructure
• You define infrastructure traceably as code and value code quality
• You can set up, improve, and adapt CI/CD processes to the needs of development teams.
• You have experience in building and operating modern cloud infrastructure
• You take responsibility for clusters and automate repetitive tasks.
• You can analyze, isolate, and solve technical problems sustainably.
• You have a good sense for sensible standards without unnecessarily restricting teams, and you find compromises.
• You can justify, document, and communicate technical decisions in a comprehensible way.
• You are open to getting familiar with new technologies and critically questioning existing solutions.
• You have very good English skills (at least C1) and optionally initial German skills.

Our tech stack

Our tech stack includes:

• We mainly use Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Azure, GCP and Telekom Public Cloud are currently used as cloud providers.
• For CI pipelines we use, among others, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions and occasionally Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Our workloads are mainly run on Kubernetes, and the manifests are packaged and delivered using Helm.
• Our CD tools of choice are Argo CD and FluxCD. Nice-To-Have: You have experience with StackIT and/or Telekom Public Cloud.
