Job summary

Global Payments Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Cloud/IaC Engineer for our hybrid office model in Cincinnati, OH; occasional Atlanta, GA or Denver CO.

You’ll design and run CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure as code, and enable self-service platforms for development teams. We value strong expertise in Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS; Python or Groovy scripting; and experience with microservices, HA/DR, and multi-region architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in DevOps/CI/CD/Platform Engineering
• Strong in Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm
• Proficiency in Python, Groovy
• Experience with AWS cloud and networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of microservices, HA/DR, and multi-region architectures
• Hands-on with Redis, Kafka, Cassandra, ELK
• Strong Linux/Windows administration skills
• Basic understanding of AI/ML cloud services

This position is hybrid 3 days per week in either our Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA office or 2 days per week in our Denver, CO office. This position is not eligible for remote work.

Join our global DevOps Cloud & Automation team driving cloud transformation and CI/CD automation across the organization. You’ll build and operate scalable platforms, enable development teams, and contribute to AI-enabled infrastructure capabilities in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

What You’ll Own

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline plus 5+ years in DevOps / CI/CD / Platform Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• Strong in Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm
• Proficiency in Python, Groovy
• Experience with AWS cloud and networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of microservices, HA/DR, and multi-region architectures
• Hands-on with Redis, Kafka, Cassandra, ELK
• Strong Linux/Windows administration skills
• Basic understanding of AI/ML cloud services

For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $108,200.00-$163,400.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location.
