Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is hiring for a senior DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineer to advance Prisma AIRS, a cloud-native security platform. The role emphasizes building scalable, secure infrastructure, driving GitOps adoption, and mentoring engineers across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Platform Engineering.
• Extensive IaC experience with declarative cloud infrastructure (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
• Deep Kubernetes expertise in large-scale production environments.
• Proficient in GitOps and CI/CD: Argo CD/Rollouts, GitLab CI.
• Hands-on infrastructure building for cloud-native platforms.
• Strong debugging skills across Linux, networking, and performance.
• Collaborative, ownership-driven contributor who can lead across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a force multiplier for engineering by building an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Drive GitOps and progressive delivery with Argo tools to improve deployment quality and velocity.
• Set standards for Kubernetes and GCP best practices across Prisma AIRS.
• Architect and operate highly available, secure cloud infrastructure for sustained protection.
• Manage GPU/TPU resources, spot instances, and cluster usage dashboards.
• Reduce engineering toil with automation, self-service tooling, and observability frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for automation, reliability, and security.
