Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking an experienced IT Architect to lead DevOps initiatives and application delivery across the enterprise. You’ll collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, IT Application Development, and Operations leaders to shape modern architectures and middleware capabilities.

The role focuses on enabling significant organizational change, advancing CI/CD, architecture governance, and scalable, secure, high-availability applications across the OD family.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in application development.
2 years of experience in IT architecture and engineering.
Experience with DevOps and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Act as a strategic solution advisor to the IT engineering teams.
Lead programs to develop, maintain, and govern CI/CD capabilities.
Develop IT DevOps architectural standards.
Participate in Architecture/Design Review Board processes.
Lead the architecture and engineering of application delivery capabilities.
Ensure the delivered solution meets functional, performance, cost and operations requirements.
