Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Lakeland, FL, is seeking an IT DevOps Architect to shape the architecture and engineering of our application delivery strategy, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, IT Application Development, and Operations Leaders to enable scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.

You will lead CI/CD programs, define IT DevOps standards, mentor engineers, and translate architecture guidance into practical designs, ensuring delivery meets performance, cost, and operational

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
10 years of experience in application development
2 years of IT architecture and engineering experience
Experience with PaaS and cloud/hybrid platforms
Experience with data management and large-scale apps
Experience with distributed computing environments

Responsibilities

Act as strategic solution advisor to IT engineering teams
Lead CI/CD programs across the enterprise
Develop IT DevOps architectural standards
Participate in architecture/design review processes
Lead architecture and engineering of application delivery capabilities
Ensure system scalability, resiliency, and security
Coach and mentor designers and engineers
