Strategic Data Systems, Inc. (SDS) is seeking an Information Security Engineer III to design, implement, and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability scanner in a remote-friendly Cincinnati-based role.

You will build the evaluation harness, CI/CD pipelines on AWS Bedrock, and dashboards in Splunk, collaborating across DevOps and security teams. The role requires 2+ years in security or software, hands-on AWS Bedrock exposure, Terraform IaC, and Jenkins/GitHub CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related engineering experience in security or software.
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock or similar hosted LLM platforms.
• Ability to build/modify Terraform modules and IaC patterns.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Familiar with SAST/SCA tooling and application security concepts.
• Willing to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability detection capability on AWS Bedrock.
• Build evaluation harnesses and pipelines integrated with GitHub, Jenkins, ECS, and Terraform.
• Deliver telemetry to Splunk and create dashboards for scanner health and throughput.
• Provide ongoing patching, tuning, and feature development for the scanner.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift with documented handoffs and runbooks.
