You will guide voice, tone, structure, and style while collaborating with authors, ghostwriters, and internal teams.

The role requires sharp analytical and communication skills, strong time management, and the ability to manage fifty+ projects annually with attention to budget and scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years editorial experience in book publishing with nonfiction focus.
• Familiarity with industry-standard publishing tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as editorial lead, directing developmental edits and book structure.
• Coordinate with authors, ghostwriters, and editorial vendors to meet schedules.
• Oversee line edits, content QA, and final sign-offs for manuscripts.
• Provide project status updates and manage timelines and budgets.
