QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Sr. Project Manager (Data Center Construction MEPR) to lead design, pre-construction and construction on campus projects. You will work daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations teams to deliver on-time, within-budget programs.

You’ll manage multi-phase development plans, prepare executive-level updates, and influence capital budgets. Strong communication and leadership are essential as you coordinate with stakeholders and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, engineering, or related field.
• Five+ years of professional construction experience with Lump Sum, CM@Risk, or Design-Build.
• Experience creating and presenting program updates to executives using PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, pre-construction, and construction activities on multiple campus projects.
• Maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports for each project.
• Develop master development programs and capital budgets with stakeholders.
• Review pay applications and change orders with contractors; ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams on site deals within budget and schedule.

The Development Program Manager (Data Center Construction MEPR) will interact on a daily basis with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff and should have both written and oral communication skills commensurate with this level of regular communication.What You Will Do:Manage multiple projects on a campus(es) and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for eachCreate and communicate updates on development program & project status on a monthly basis suitable for executive level reviews. Effectively present information in a manner to support efficient decision makingWork with QTS stakeholders, design, and construction teams to create a master development program for site(s), including a complete campus design solution and capital budget.Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each assigned site project(s)Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion.
