Job summary

Robert Bosch Group is seeking a Development Engineer - Sr (Multiple Positions) at our Anderson, SC facility. You will serve as a key owner for the product, leading task forces on critical issues and interfacing between plant and development to resolve hardware/software problems in automotive infotainment.

The role includes leading FPY improvements, providing technical support for failure analysis, and driving continuous improvement across production and development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Microelectronics/Communications Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Product Development or automotive electronics.
• Hardware failure troubleshooting and debugging experience.
• Electronic circuit design or analysis experience.
• Ability to read and translate schematics; knowledge of automotive software environments.
• Up to 10% travel to Bosch plants in Braga and Penang.

Responsibilities

• Lead product owner for infotainment testing and software download processes.
• Act as interface between plant and development during issues on hardware/software.
• Lead task forces to resolve production and technical issues.
• Provide technical risk assessments and support failure analysis.
• Drive cost reduction and IDC scrap reduction initiatives.
