Job summary

Clemson University’s Advancement Division is seeking a Senior Director of Development & Team Lead for the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences (CECAS) in Clemson, SC. You will lead fundraising strategy, manage a portfolio, and guide a team to meet aggressive annual goals.

Responsibilities include securing major gifts, collaborating with college leadership, and serving as a key liaison between the College and the Advancement division while advancing the university’s campaign

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• 50% - Fundraising: Manage a dynamic portfolio (up to 150 prospects/donors) and raise a minimum of $5 million annually; coordinate cultivation, stewardship and donor engagement opportunities.
• 10% - Strategic Collaboration and Facilitation: Partner with Dean and leaders to advance fundraising strategies.
• 15% - Team Management & Supervision: Directly supervise development officers and support staff; lead annual planning and performance reviews.
• 25% - College Leadership and Engagement: Build partnerships with Dean and leaders; support capital campaign and growth of philanthropic pipeline.
• Responsibilities: JOB KNOWLEDGE, SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES, BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES.
