Job summary

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH seeks a Senior Director of Development to lead a comprehensive fundraising program, including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, events, and capital campaigns, for the Cheshire Health Foundation.

Reporting to the President/CEO, you will collaborate with volunteers and staff to attract support from individuals, businesses, foundations, and organizations, ensuring a cost-effective operation and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred with 10 years of philanthropy experience.
• Proven track record in identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts.
• Knowledge of charitable giving methods and tax implications.
• Ability to lead and work as part of a team and autonomously.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• CFRE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive fundraising program across annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and capital campaigns.
• Oversee events, memorial giving and other initiatives to attract support.
• Work with CEO, staff, Board and volunteers to ensure successful operations of the Cheshire Health Foundation.
