Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking engineers who are passionate about developer productivity, command-line tooling, and observability.

You will build Go-based CLIs and TypeScript tooling, contribute to release automation, and craft telemetry pipelines to understand usage and performance across a distributed platform. Collaborating on integrations with GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD, IDEs, and developer portals, you will help create extensible plugins and SDKs for internal and external users while ensuring

Qualifications

• Production-grade CLI tooling experience with Go and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with packaging, distribution technologies and installers.
• Telemetry frameworks, OpenTelemetry knowledge, and usage instrumentation.
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD integrations, IDEs, and developer portals.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Build production-grade CLI tools using Golang and/or TypeScript.
• Developer Workflows: Create command-line experiences for API governance, review automation, developer workflows, and platform operations.
• Extensibility: Build extensible plugin architectures and SDKs for internal and external consumers.
• Distribution Strategy: Design and implement software distribution strategies across macOS, Linux, and Windows.
• Release Engineering: Build release pipelines, package managers, installers, auto-update mechanisms, and version management.
• Telemetry & Analytics: Implement telemetry frameworks that measure adoption, usage patterns, performance, reliability, and feature engagement.
