Job summary

CompassX Group is seeking a senior-level React contractor in the United States to build and maintain front-end features within a larger enterprise context. The role requires integrating React with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud, and owning development, deployment, and production support with minimal supervision.

You will set up CI/CD pipelines, apply DevOps practices, and collaborate directly with client stakeholders to clarify needs and move work forward.

This is a senior-level contract role for someone who can work independently, collaborate with client stakeholders, and deliver quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain front-end features in React.
• Integrate the application with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud services.
• Own work across development, deployment, and production support.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Use Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools effectively.
• Work directly with technical and business stakeholders to clarify needs and move work forward.
• Produce clean, maintainable code and documentation.

What You’ll Bring Essential

• Strong, hands-on React development experience.
• Experience building and supporting custom business applications.
• Working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and deployment workflows.
• Able to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication skills with both clients and technical teammates.

Additional

• Experience in manufacturing or enterprise operations environments.
• Full-stack experience supporting APIs and backend integrations.
• Availability to start immediately or within two weeks.
