Job summary

Momento USA is seeking a Senior Developer (.NET Core) in New York, onsite. You will build and evolve microservices, design scalable architectures, and drive cloud-based solutions using AWS and IaC. The role emphasizes hands-on coding, modern tooling, and collaboration across engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience with .NET Core, microservices, CI/CD, and AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery while maintaining secure engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on .NET Core development with microservices-based architectures.
• Strong SQL/relational database experience; NoSQL a plus.
• Experience with AWS cloud and Terraform (IaC).
• Proficiency with Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum and modern container/platform tooling (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to produce system design diagrams (sequence, deployment) to communicate architecture.
• Experience in AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery with secure engineering practices.
• Proven ability to create POCs for new technologies and present trade-offs.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release strategies.

Position: Senior Developer (.NET Core)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• 1. Strong years of hands-on .NET Core development experience building microservices-based architectures.
• 2. Good years of experience with SQL / relational databases (NoSQL is a plus).
• 3. Hands-on years of experience with AWS cloud and Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
• 4. Expertise with Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and modern container/platform tooling, including Docker, Kubernetes.
• 5. Strong ability to produce system design diagrams (sequence, deployment, etc.) to communicate architecture and integrations.
• 6. AI enablement & adoption: proficient in AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery (code generation/refactoring/testing) with secure engineering practices; establishes safe AI development standards (prompt/playbooks, governance for AI-generated code/POCs); acts as an AI promoter/champion via demos and enablement.
• 7. Demonstrated ability to create POCs for new technologies and present recommendations/trade-offs to the team.
• 8. CI/CD & platform engineering: pipeline design, quality gates, automated testing strategy, release strategies (blue/green, canary), and environment promotion.
• 9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and stakeholders.
• 10. Preferred: experience in the financial services domain.
• 11. Preferred: experience with Java and Kotlin (building services, integrations, or platform components).
