Job Summary: The Senior Developer is responsible for the hands‑on implementation of Entra ID using an identity‑centric security model with Entra ID experience. This role involves designing and building enterprise‑level IAM solutions for Maryland Benefits applications.
Responsibilities
- Architecting and hands‑on developing the end‑to‑end IAM framework for all Maryland Benefits applications, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Implementing and managing Single Sign‑On (SSO) solutions with Entra ID.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining strong Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) policies and privileged access management (PAM) solutions.
- Leading the hands‑on integration and development of IAM solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID (for enterprise/consumer access).
- Implementing and managing Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) and adaptive authentication policies across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or another related scientific or technical discipline. (A Master’s degree is preferred.)
- At least five (5) years of experience in a senior developer or architect role focused exclusively on IAM.
- Proven experience designing and building enterprise‑level IAM solutions for large‑scale, public‑facing applications.
- Strong, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
- All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.
