Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Senior Technical Contributor in Energy Technology to design, develop, and support commodity trading and pricing platforms both on-premise and in the cloud. You will work with stakeholders and multiple technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support commercial trading operations.

Responsibilities include leading technical projects, translating business needs into actionable designs, and guiding modernization efforts across cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent proficiency accepted.
• 5+ years in enterprise app development/support/integration.
• 5+ years in commodity/energy trading or retail pricing.
• 2+ years leading technical projects or production support.
• Advanced proficiency with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, and SQL Server.
• Advanced proficiency with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support trading, risk management, credit, and pricing apps.
• Lead complex projects, providing technical guidance and implementation support.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities and deliver solutions.
• Triage production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
