Role Overview

As a Developer Advocate, you will inspire and equip software developers to build with DigitalOcean as part of the Developer Advocacy team under the broader Developer Relations organization. This role focuses on our AI capabilities, from bare metal GPUs to our GenAI stack, driving developer awareness and adoption of our AI products.

Responsibilities

1. Create content that inspires and equips developers to build with DigitalOcean, including tutorials, videos, and in-person events.
2. Write code that enables developers to succeed with DigitalOcean, which will be open source.
3. Provide feedback to Product teams based on your experience and developer community insights to improve the developer experience.
4. Collaborate with other Developer Relations teams, such as Social, Community, and Content, providing AI/ML expertise as needed.
5. Decide on scaling strategies for developer relations efforts to serve more developers effectively.

Qualifications

1. Background in machine learning and statistics.
2. Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
3. Experience creating high-quality, publicly available technical content like videos and publications.
4. Self-motivated, empathetic, and dedicated to serving developers and colleagues.
