Job summary

Foundant is a remote-first software company serving foundations, grantmakers, nonprofits and community organizations worldwide. We design mission-critical software to streamline workflows, strengthen relationships, and maximize impact.

In this engineering role, you’ll design and ship working prototypes, run fast experiments with real users, and contribute ideas across the full stack. You’ll work with AI-assisted development tools to move fast while staying user-focused.

Qualifications

• Senior-level engineering with broad technical range.
• Comfortable working from a hypothesis rather than a detailed spec.
• Bias toward speed - you know when good enough is good enough.
• Genuine curiosity about users and why they behave the way they do.
• The ability to stay unattached to your own work when the evidence points elsewhere.
• Fluent with AI-assisted development. You've built real workflows around tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude and use them to move meaningfully faster, not just as an autocomplete
