Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in ConnectWise and a background in Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies, automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices. This role is fully remote and requires a proactive problem solver who can drive efficiency and scalability across our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and automation pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
2. Administer and optimize ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate for service delivery and monitoring.
3. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure high availability and performance.
4. Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
5. Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize for cost, performance, and security.
6. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
7. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
8. Improve security and compliance practices, including vulnerability management and identity/access controls.
9. Automate system provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for high reliability.
10. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
2. Strong hands-on experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate.
3. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
5. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack).
6. Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.
7. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog).
8. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
10. ConnectWise certifications or deep working knowledge of ConnectWise integrations.
11. Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory management.
12. Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
13. Background in disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
