Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years experience in a criminal justice field, preferably including supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED; additional education substituted year-for-year.
• Completion of basic pre-service officer training; valid driver's license required; age at least 20.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision of Detention Officers and inmates/residents on the shift.
• Conduct inspections of housing and general use areas to ensure security standards, facility operating procedures and welfare guidelines.
• Assist in supervising internal and external security; inspect posts for alertness and proper maintenance of security.
